Childcare Playground Re-development (North Vancouver, BC)
Dotori Studio provided design development, permit requirements, construction review/documentation, and coordination with the City, Vancouver Coastal Health, the arborist, contractor, and client, in collaboration with Homing Landscape Architecture.

The project required a Heritage Alteration Permit and tree protection under covenants. Sloped rubber play hills and flat engineered wood fibre areas mitigated the issue of loose material migration on the original sloped terrain while enhancing play diversity. The work also expanded the infant/toddler area, relocated equipment, and added a retaining wall and fencing.
